Morgan Lockhart joined the Hope College Volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach before the 2026 season.

A Detroit, Michigan native, Lockhart spent the 2025 season as an undergraduate assistant coach at Ferris State University, helping guide the Bulldogs to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight and a 27-8 overall record. Before joining the coaching staff, Lockhart was a key member of one of the most successful eras in Ferris State Volleyball history. As an outside hitter from 2022-2024, she helped the Bulldogs to back-to-back NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances, including a historic 34-1 campaign in 2024 and a combined 61-9 record over those two seasons.

Lockhart earned her degree in Sports Communication from Ferris State.

In high school, Lockhart starred at Detroit Country Day, earning American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Midwest Region honors as a senior and Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association (MIVCA) All-State recognition three times.
