MIAA Academic Honor Roll (2021, 2020, 2019)

Why did you choose to attend Hope College? I started looking at Hope because of basketball and when I visited I found out the Education program was top in the state of Michigan. It was a a win win situation.

Name a role model or models who have impacted your life? And describe how. Both of my parents are my role models. Whether it’s through their love for sports or our family everything about them I strive to be.

If you have chosen a major, please explain how you plan to use it after graduation. I plan to become an elementary school teacher.

What is your favorite movie and why? The Last Song - the soundtrack is amazing and the story is great. Has a mix of all genres.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. Philippians 4:13 It is mine and my mom's favorite verse.

Where is your favorite place on campus? Why? DeVos Fieldhouse, basketball.

What is your favorite pregame meal or snack? Meal, pasta with salad and garlic bread; snack: PB sandwich

What is your favorite pre-game music? Upbeat music, usually a mix of rap and pop

If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be and why? Volleyball, I used to play and both my parents always played.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? To never give up.
