The Hope College women's basketball team moved into the top 10 in both national polls this week.
The Flying Dutch are ranked ninth in the latest Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll for NCAA Division III and 10th by D3hoops.com.
Hope rose three spots in the WBCA poll and one spot in the D3hoops rankings.
Led by head coach
Brian Morehouse, the Flying Dutch are off to a 6-1 start this season.
Three players are scoring in double figures for the Orange and Blue: sophomore
Leah Richards (DeWitt, Michigan / Lansing Catholic) at 13.6 points per game; senior
Sydney Vis (Byron Center, Michigan / South Christian) at 11.4; and sophomore
Anna Richards (DeWitt, Michigan / Lansing Catholic) at 11.1.
Hope's next game is Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at Saint Mary's College in MIAA action.
The Flying Dutch play their next four games on the road to close out the calendar year.
The Orange and Blue's next appearance at DeVos Fieldhouse is Saturday, Jan. 3, at 4 p.m. against Calvin University in The Rivalry.
