The Hope College women's tennis team recorded a 9-0 win against Calvin College on Saturday on Senior Day at VandePoel-Heeringa Stadium Courts.

The regionally ranked Flying Dutch improved to 12-5 overall and 4-1 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.

Hope can take over second place in the league standings by winning at second-place Albion College on Tuesday, April 23.

The Flying Dutch picked up singles and doubles wins from Nancy Benda of Birmingham (Seaholm HS), senior Mallory Smith of Grand Haven (Grand Haven HS), freshman Paige Courts of Caledonia (Grand Rapids South Christian HS) and senior Stephanie Huffman of Grand Rapids (Forest Hills Eastern HS).
